Stone Lamina was formed by a dedicated group of visionary stone fabrication specialists that envisioned a new type of stone manufacturing company - one that valued innovation and the advancement of the stone fabrication process. They created the company in order to develop new, integrated stone panel products that would revolutionize the way stone could be used in the construction of buildings and homes. The traditional stone cladding industry has been slow to innovate and, as a result, have limited the way that stone and stone panels could be used. The founders of Stone Lamina sought to change this way of thinking by pioneering an integrated, flexible, cost effective, composite stone panel system that also had superior performance characteristics compared to traditional stone panels. Stone Lamina is not just a composite stone panel system, but at its core, it is a new way of thinking... and of engineering stone... one that introduces new stone product innovations in a matter of months, instead of decades or even centuries with the old way of thinking.
